The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for supporting and managing US accounting operations with a focus on accurate financial reporting and compliance. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting activities for US entities and leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. The candidate will review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
The position also includes preparing management reports, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls. The Sr. Accountant will support audits, tax filings, and statutory requirements while driving process improvements and automation initiatives. The role also involves coordinating with US clients, auditors, and business stakeholders and mentoring junior accounting team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting activities for US entities.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Prepare management reports and perform variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
- Support audits, tax filings, statutory requirements, and process improvement initiatives.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant US accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Ability to manage accounting activities independently.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, auditors, and business stakeholders.

- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Experience managing accounting for US entities.
- Experience with process improvement and automation.
- Experience mentoring or overseeing junior accounting team members.
